Your Fox Cities Gargoyles took on the Milwaukee Barbarians in Brown Deer to start the season. It was a typical hard hitting and hard running match. Ryan Melso started the day with a Try at the 10 minute mark. Noah Coulthurst added one in at the 30 minute mark. Bradley Gorzek opened the second half to put in another score just 6 minutes in. Ryan Peters scored the last one 12 minutes into the second half. Jacob Mason converted all kicks including one almost at the edge of the field to put the Gargoyles up 28-0. The Barbarians continued to fight and got their only score of the day in with about 10 minutes left in the match. Final score of 28-5.
