The Gargoyles battled a hard hitting Wisconsin Rugby team yesterday and came out on top with a 57-31 victory, improving their record to 6-0 on the year, and ending the regular season in first place in the Wisconsin division. Ryan Melso got the first score before a knee injury forced him out of the game early. Alton Kruckeberg added a Hat Trick of scores, Thomas Wainwright added a pair as well before exiting with an injury. Ryan Peters toughed it out with a shoulder injury and was able to add a try. The final two scores are credited to Barry Marquardt and some hard running forward action. Jacob Mason added 6 conversions in the game. Overall Fox Cities had solid defense the whole game but let a few scores squeak through in the final minutes. Next week the Gargoyles will host the play-in against the Peoria Pigs out in Greenville.
