The 2022 Division 3 Senior Men’s Rugby season has ended and the playoff schedule released. The Gargoyles walk away with a clear win in the Wisconsin Division. Madison and Oconomowoc were tied in points so Oconomowoc takes the 2nd place position due to a Head to Head victory.
The Gargoyles finished with the highest point differential at 250, the highest points scored at 315, and finished 4th in points against at 65. The Cleveland Rovers had 60, the West Des Moines Wombats had 58, and the Detroit Rugby Club finished best with 54.
The Gargoyles will be hosting the first weekend of playoffs against the Peoria Pigs at their home field in Greenville. Oconomowoc will be traveling down to the Chicago area to play the Chicago Riot. If both Wisconsin teams win this weekend, then the Gargoyles will host Oconomowoc the following week, otherwise the Wisconsin division will be traveling south on 10/29/22.
